PROGRAM FOCUS:

In-season training is not about adding unnecessary fatigue. It is about maintaining strength, speed, explosiveness, mobility, and movement quality while helping athletes manage the physical demands of their competitive season.

Maintain Speed & Explosiveness: Athletes can lose speed and power qualities during a long season if they only practice and compete.

Performance training helps maintain acceleration, sprint mechanics, and explosiveness.

Maintain Strength & Power: In-season strength training helps athletes preserve the strength they developed during the offseason.

Improve Stability & Body Control: Single-leg strength, balance, landing mechanics, and coordination can help athletes move more efficiently.

Continue Developing Athleticism: Practices are primarily focused on sport-specific skills, tactics, and competition. Sports performance training provides dedicated time for speed, agility, strength, power, and movement development.

Improve Mobility & Movement Quality: Structured mobility and recovery work can help athletes manage the physical demands of practices and games.

Maintain Performance Throughout the Season: Athletes want to be performing well at the end of the season—not physically declining as the weeks progress.

Build Consistency & Discipline: Continuing to train during the season teaches athletes the importance of preparation, recovery, and maintaining productive habits year-round.
